Parish Events

Mount Carmel Parish has a long tradition of community gatherings that bring families together in celebration and fellowship. From our beloved Annual Parish Picnic — a tradition dating back to at least 1983 — to seasonal celebrations, there is always something happening in our parish.

  • Christmas Potluck Dinner — Celebrate the season with a community meal after Christmas Mass
  • Easter Egg Hunt — Fun activities for children following Easter Sunday Mass
  • Harvest Thanksgiving — Giving thanks for the year's blessings with a special liturgy and gathering

A fraternal organization of Catholic men committed to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism through practical service and support.

Women of the parish united in faith and service, organizing events, supporting charities, and building sisterhood through shared ministry.

Parish Choir

Enhancing our worship through sacred music. New members are always welcome — no audition required, just a love of singing for the Lord.

Altar Servers

Young parishioners who assist the priest during Mass. Training is provided and this ministry is a wonderful way for youth to grow in faith.

Lectors & Readers

Proclaiming the Word of God during liturgical celebrations. Training and support are provided for those called to this important ministry.

Hospitality Ministry

Welcoming parishioners and visitors, preparing refreshments after Mass, and coordinating parish meals and social gatherings.

Outreach Programs

As followers of Christ, we are called to reach out to those in need. Mount Carmel Parish runs several outreach programs that serve our local and rural community:

🍵 Food Drives

Seasonal food collection campaigns to support families in need throughout the St. Paul and Flat Lake area.

👤 Visiting the Elderly

Regular visits to homebound parishioners and residents of care homes, bringing communion, companionship, and spiritual comfort.

🤝 Community Support

Assisting families during difficult times with meals, transportation, and pastoral care. Our parish rallies around those who need us most.

🏠 Rural Assistance

Supporting farming families and rural neighbours through practical help during harvest season, emergencies, and times of hardship.
