Mount Carmel Parish has a long tradition of community gatherings that bring families together in celebration and fellowship. From our beloved Annual Parish Picnic — a tradition dating back to at least 1983 — to seasonal celebrations, there is always something happening in our parish.
Our parish ministries offer opportunities to use your gifts and talents in service to God and our community.
A fraternal organization of Catholic men committed to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism through practical service and support.
Women of the parish united in faith and service, organizing events, supporting charities, and building sisterhood through shared ministry.
Enhancing our worship through sacred music. New members are always welcome — no audition required, just a love of singing for the Lord.
Young parishioners who assist the priest during Mass. Training is provided and this ministry is a wonderful way for youth to grow in faith.
Proclaiming the Word of God during liturgical celebrations. Training and support are provided for those called to this important ministry.
Welcoming parishioners and visitors, preparing refreshments after Mass, and coordinating parish meals and social gatherings.
As followers of Christ, we are called to reach out to those in need. Mount Carmel Parish runs several outreach programs that serve our local and rural community:
Seasonal food collection campaigns to support families in need throughout the St. Paul and Flat Lake area.
Regular visits to homebound parishioners and residents of care homes, bringing communion, companionship, and spiritual comfort.
Assisting families during difficult times with meals, transportation, and pastoral care. Our parish rallies around those who need us most.
Supporting farming families and rural neighbours through practical help during harvest season, emergencies, and times of hardship.
A glimpse into the life of our vibrant parish community through the seasons.
