The sacraments are central to our Catholic life, marking the most important moments of our spiritual journey.
The first sacrament of initiation, welcoming new members into the Catholic Church and the Mount Carmel community. Parents should contact the parish office at least one month before the desired date.
Children are prepared through our faith formation program, typically receiving First Communion in Grade 2. Preparation includes classes for both children and parents.
The sacrament that completes baptismal grace, strengthening young people in their faith. Confirmation preparation involves instruction, community service, and a retreat experience.
Couples wishing to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage at Mount Carmel should contact the parish office at least six months prior. Marriage preparation courses are required.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available every Saturday from 4:00–4:45 PM, or by appointment with our pastor for those unable to attend regular hours.
For those who are seriously ill, facing surgery, or in their final days. Please contact the parish office to arrange a visit. Communal anointing is also offered during special liturgies.
At Mount Carmel Parish, we believe that faith is a lifelong journey. Our formation programs are designed to meet you wherever you are on that journey.
Weekly classes for children in grades 1–6, preparing them for the sacraments and building a solid foundation of Catholic teaching.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults welcomes those interested in learning about the Catholic faith or completing their sacraments of initiation.
Group sessions held bi-weekly to explore Scripture, deepen understanding, and apply God's Word to daily life. All are welcome to participate.
Engaging activities and faith-sharing for teens, including retreats, service projects, and social events that build lasting friendships grounded in faith.
Throughout the liturgical year, we gather for special celebrations that mark sacred seasons and honour our patroness, Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
